Remember what people who never watched David Robinson play say about him, that he wasn't a hard worker, that he didn't step up in the playoffs, that he didn't have a post game, that he wasn't good enough to carry a team to a title? That's actually what Dwight Howard is. No, I wouldn't trade Tony Parker for the black Kevin Love.

He's a legit poster from the Tucson area. Big-time suns fan. Heard he frequents the local Chuckbox.

People who are actually "from" the Tucson area usually have drug problems :lmao

Tbh there's a term for them, they're called T-locs (short for Tucson locals).
Whenever you meet a Tucson local, there's usually always some really strange/weird aspect of their life. It might take a few months to find out what it is (a lot of the time it's a cocaine habit), but there's ALWAYS something weird about them. Always.

TP has way more balls than Howard could ever hope to but any real fan is kidding themselves if they wouldn't trade TP for Howard...I'd trade for him just for a season rental if Ford came back healthy. And TP is one my favorite players :depressed

Hint: he also said Duncan > Howard defensively
That shit boggles my mind :lol Howad's Magic have routinely been one of the top defensive teams in the league for years now solely because of his presence. He's had nothing but shitty defensive players and spot up 3 point shooters around him and yet by himself he makes them into a good defensive team. I jizz my pants thinking what he could do for this team
Hint: he also said Duncan > Howard defensively
He also said the Spurs were on their way to a 72 win season until BLAIR was benched last year.

Well this is stupid.
I got my ass kicked my entire career by Tony Parker. I also owned the shit out of Dwight Howard. Parker > Howard.
That was an easy resolution. Somebody lock the fuck out of this thread.

My favorite Tommy Nunez story is from the 2007 playoffs when the San Antonio Spurs were able to get past the Phoenix Suns in the second round. Of course, what many fans didn't know was that Phoenix had someone working against them behind the scenes. Nunez was the group supervisor for that playoff series, and he definitely had a rooting interest.
Nunez loved the Hispanic community in San Antonio and had a lot of friends there. He had been a referee for 30 years and loved being on the road; in fact, he said that the whole reason he had become a group supervisor was to keep getting out of the house. So Nunez wanted to come back to San Antonio for the conference finals. Plus, he, like many other referees, disliked Suns owner Robert Sarver for the way he treated officials. Both of these things came into play when he prepared the referees for the games in the staff meetings. I remember laughing with him and saying, "You would love to keep coming back here." He was pointing out everything that Phoenix was able to get away with and never once told us to look for anything in regard to San Antonio. Nunez should have a championship ring on his finger.
