Hi guys, there's a problem with the heat in my apartment and it doesn't work, so last night i turned the oven on, left the door open, and my place eventually became warm enough so I could turn it off and go to sleep. This morning was a really cold one though so before I left for work I set it at 250 so my apt would be toasty when I got back. I'm starting to worry whether I should go home for lunch and check on it though cause I have 2 cats and a dog. Am I just being a worry wart or is this kosher?

they should be sleeping peacefully, for good.

should be a-ok. worst case scenario, your neighbors and pets will be much warmer and toastier than expected.

Just check your stick of butter to make sure it isn't too warm in there.

Are you stupid????

250 isn't hot enough for today, also throw a pot of water on top to boil for extra heat.

It's an efficiency, tbh.

How fucking big is your efficiency apartment that you need to leave the over open at 250 for the whole fucking day??? Can't you just call about an hour before you leave work and have your dog turn it on?

You waste electricity like David Robinson does water.

When you live in WNY and your heat doesn't work, that's a problem. Just the other day I woke up in a cold sweat and had icicles on my balls.

Time to call the super.

If I wasn't 2 months late with the rent I would.

LMAO. You should somehow store all the electricity you're wasting and try to trade him for the two months rent.

You should be thinking of ways to stay warm when you're sleeping outside.

Depends on the oven tbh? What brand?

knew some inbreds once who lived in a run down shack with no central air or heating, dipshits would turn on the gas stove with the burner flame shooting up 6 inches above the stove on all 4 burners and leave it overnight as their "heater"
