Yup, he has finally emerged as the 3rd consistent scorer Dallas has always needed. It's not a by-the-committee type thing anymore.

Hopefully Delonte West keeps up his strong play whenever he gets back.

It's strange that one of the teams biggest weaknesses is its outside shooting. It'll come around though hopefully.

'Maybe' certain trades could shift the balance of power in the west. The east is settled.

If they deal your ass out east for their main target, than maybe the Lakers can emerge.

Trading me for "their main target" changes nothing for the Lakers. We need a PG, not a center.

The Bulls landing "their main target" wouldn't change anything? Think again. Please wait until the deadline passes until you make stupid threads like this.

OP is pretty much the league consensus at this point. As much as I'd love to see my spurs in it til at least the Finals, it will definitely be considered an upset if they beat Mavs or to a lesser extent, OKC. Clips and Blake Griffin don't have the experience quite yet and Lakers just aren't deep enough.

tbh i can see LAC beating Dallas simply due to the matchup nightmares they present.

I wouldn't be nervous at all if Dallas plays OKC as long as they have that retard Westbrook making decisions in crunch time

Even though no one in the West is winning it all, Dallas has more of a fighting chance than anyone else against Miami. OKC is overrated. The Spurs don't have superstar Duncan anymore. The Lakers are weak.

miami always the better team then dallas since our big 3 merged, and the gap was broadened last summer as the mavs lost TC who was such a key to their lucky win last year

if bball game takes 10 men each team on court then mavs would have an equal chance of winnin it as we do because their depth is much better then ours, their depth is the biggest advantage they have but it's minimized in playoffs where the 1st unit often plays 35-40 every game tbh.

Well the Heat got lucky with the refs in 2006. So it evens out I guess. And the key to beating the Heat last year was Marion's defense on Lebron. We are lucky to have our best defender at the same position as Miami's best player. lol Bosh being included. More like big 2.

So is Haywood's defense. And West and Carter have shown some good defense as well. Just a great defensive coach Carlisle is to have the team play so well defensively.

2nd leading scorer at the time he went down, shooting his highest FG% since he became a Mav, singlehandedly almost beat the Spurs. Both two time All-Stars, Butler a bit younger. Yeah, I'll compare them alright when the difference is 8 and :lobt2:
