Refs just doing their part to keep the chink story going, nothing to see here. Notice all the confusion there at the end? Both teams stopped playing, the clock wasn't even running, and all the sudden Chandler is the only guy to realize the game is still going and comes away with a wide open dunk. Oh well, just one game. Knicks ain't doing shit.

Not so much a total "robbery" as we dont know what would have happened, we'd still be down 2. But it's obvious that the nba is loving this whole chink storyline, that's for damn sure.

Geez, Dirk's flopping really spoiled Mav fans. He finally gets a no call and the fans throw a hissy fit.

This team is really drained right now, the gave it their all, but in the end Dirk got out dueled by Novak.

Expect Boston to continue the train tomorrow :p:

That's chickenshit. Ace stayed here (off & on/mostly off) when you won it.

Neal would have made that 3

JamStone
02-19-2012, 04:36 PM
Maybe a foul. I need to see the play again. But even if that foul is called, it would not have negated 28 points and 13 assists. If the Mavs won the game, the loss would not have taken away from another solid performance by the Asian. Lin's play was pretty good against a good defensive team regardless of that one non-call.

The fact that they let pringle's team even be that close, they deserved to lose

I responded to something you specifically wrote in the OP.

If the call was made and the Mavs somehow won, the "chink story" would still have been in full force because he still had a good performance.

I'm sorry you're upset about the game. It's just one game.

Yeah everyone is behind that chink boy at this point, no denying that.

Looked to me like he tried to jump to the side to draw contact but I only saw the play once.

I didn't think Amare fouled Dirk at the end right by the rim. What did you think about that call?

Giuseppe

Yeah everyone is behind that chink boy at this point, no denying that.

Even the ABC guys, especially Hubie. When Lin would do something stupid there'd dead air for a number of seconds.:lol And then when they'd start talking again it was like somebody died, or, lost money, but, then he'd pass for a 3, or hit one himself and Hubie was alive again, backslapping each other like when a baby is born.

And so far he's backing up a lot of the hype with performances like today.

Dallas is a good defensive team. They tried a bunch of different players and schemes against him. He still dropped 28/14 on them in a win. He's getting a little too much hype. But it's not like it's totally unwarranted.

You know if Lin was doing this in S.A., maybe a side article about him would pop up, but that's it. He's just doing it at the right time, right place, right opportunity. And in NYC.

& then JR showing up there like out of the blue, when he was all but penciled in with the Clippers, 4,000 miles to the West. Shows up in shape like he was never gone from the NBA. It's like a gd Twilight Zone episode.

Then Costner shows up there with that hot girl and I jumped the shark (Katie-girl).

It's just annoying because it was obvious he was the real deal after a few games. It's time for the media to just accept he's a great player instead of going berserk every time he does something good

If the Spurs were 8 games under .500 and had point guard problems and Lin came in as a last resort to average 25/9 on 50% and the Spurs went on to win 7 of the next 8 games with him as the starting PG, there would only be a side article about him?

I mean him being Asian and playing for the Knicks does add more hype, no question about it. But if this happened anywhere, it would still be a national sports story.

Don't disagree that the media hype needs to cool off. But that's not what some argue on here. Some are suggesting he's not that good at all and is a fluke.

tbh the hype would be just as big if an undrafted injun or half injun out of harvard turned the knicks around

too bad injuns are too retarded to get into harvard and cant ball for shit though
