He'll get third. You know Westbrook is all about flash so he'll prolly win it. Parker is a better PG than DWill so that'll give him the advantage. I think Curry or Irving will finish above Parker too. Honestly, I'm just glad Parker's getting the chance to have some fun and be rewarded for his steller play (other than all the $$$ he gets paid to do so). Who knows, maybe he'll learn something or come back reinvigorated?

Such a useless and extremely boring event, much more boring than the 3 point shootout

Parker sucks in that event. It doesn't help that he doesn't try. Wonder why they picked him again, tbh.

Dumbest event in the whole weekend.
He better start practicing that bounce pass.

The NBA just wants to make sure he doesn't get any rest.

I don't think anybody ever tries in the skill competition. Worthless event.
The NBA should axe the event and focus more on selecting actually capable participants for the 3 point competition.

He will not hit the jump shot ...

I'd rather see a game of HORSE, though just like the dunk contest, it's sort of everything that's wrong with the NBA.

I'd rather see skills then HORSE tbh
HORSE is so boring and mostly shows no basketball skills whatsoever

A weekend flu would be nice for Parker.
Waste of time. All of it.
Thankfully Duncan stays home.

Well, considering the Spurs are the #2 team in the West and have only one player in the ASG, I suspect that has something to do with why they picked him.
Parker can use any attention he can get. He always gets over looked. So I hope he wins it...even if it doesn't mean anything. It will at least take one of the other point gaurds out of the spotlight for a moment.

TP walked until he hit that jumper in the first round and was like oh damn I could win this.

02-25-2012, 09:26 PM
you could see his confidence boost when he hit that 1st jumper, hustled the last part of the 1st round and that was the key the rest of the tournament

That was pretty huge indeed but the biggest moment of his career remains that day when, in a pre season game back in 03 or 04, Parker passed the ball to Manu (not sur if really intended though)

Tony Parker says he got this text from Tim Duncan after winning Skills Competition in Orlando: "There must not be a lot of passes involved."
