It was kind of funny to hear the Jazz announcers call the game. Was it just me, or did one of them sound like he was a closet Spurs' fan (or at least a huge Duncan fan)?

I actually like Danny Ferry. He's so connected that he accidentally leaks inner thoughts of the front office from time to time.

Matt Harpring had major props for the Spurs most of the night.
It seemed like he wished he could've played for us during his career.

They were polite and informed. Loved the discussion of greatest PF of all time. After a back and forth, they counted the rings between TD and Malone and gave it to TD. Then one of them said he considered TD a center.

I was pleasantly surprised with the respect considering Malone was in the stands.

I was noticing the same thing. I listened carefully throughout the game.

I must've missed his little gems. What exactly did he let leak?

They're definitely not as entertaining as Bill and Sean, but they're alright. As long as they're not obnoxious homers even though we root for the same team.

Yeah the only thing Malone got on him is he was a much better scorer and more durable.

This. I like the "he will see film tomorrow, depending on the outcome of this game". He dropped a couple more nuggets as well.

Tim Duncan has a lot of fans around the league, in front offices, in broadcast booths, old timers as well. He's a throwback in both fundamentals and demeanor. Coaches love the guy.

In these days where there are only a precious few all time greats still playing the game (Lebron will be, has to do something first), guys who've been watching for decades understand the significance of this year for Tim.
