Tp and Leonard get some well deserved votes imo.

The Spurs gave up a player in George Hill that they originally got late in the draft a few years back to save money and get Leonard. And I find this interesting because to some on si, Leonard is deserving of some talks for ROY. Another savvy move by the FO. :toast

Really liked seeing Parker crack the top 5 in MVP voting, too!

Not sure how the hell Dwight Howard and Derrick Rose worked their way into the discussion. Howard has generally been a cancer to his team most of the season, and Rose has been injured for a third of the season.

Ibaka needs to be in the top 3 in the Defensive Player of the Year award.. seriously, the guy has been a monster.

Spurs players and coaches get mentioned as a token basically saying "we mention these guys because for all intents and purposes they are far and away the leaders, but we have readers who've never heard of them so we stick with the ones with the most television ads"

It really drops off after 2 though. Not many great rookies last year.

Fairly obvious for all of them:
MVP: LeBron
ROY: Irving
6th: Harden
DPOY: Howard (although it's ridiculous giving it to him every year when Duncan has had 0 and was the best big in the league defensively for about 6 or 7 straight years)
MIP: Lin
COY: Doug Collins
