I don't know how true the rumors are, but there were some that said the spike in testosterone levels was due to him taking herpes medication. I've read that on other messageboards, so I took that rumor with a grain of salt.

Also, from what I've read, Braun's argument was that the chain of possession of his samples was broken and compromised. I don't know the specific details, but allegedly, they can't account for who had possession/control of the samples the entire time. So it's possible they were tampered with. That's the story anyway.
