I was being a smart ass, tbh. All the people bitching and complaining that Pop killed momentum by sitting Tony and Tim with Manu and Tiago already on the bench, and they were saying he killed the momentum we had going, and it would affect our bench players.

Denver fans can leave warmhearted knowing the Spurs played their starters.

New Age is quiet tonight.

but James Anderson almost fucked up this game and Denver scores 33 pts on a quarter and in the second half our D sucked and we could have been 9-0 instead of 8-1 and the blazers fans are not happy to see their team winning by 40 pts and to not see the best pf of all time

Yeah.. i am waiting to hear from the idiots who said that resting starters in the Portland game would hurt "chemistry". Idiots!

:lol thinking a veteran team like the Spurs would actually be bothered by a loss without 4 of our best players. GNSF is nowhere to be found.

lol glad to see my worried were for naught. I was worried the 40 point blowout would hurt the younger players' confidence, but I never thought sitting TD and TP was dumb, after seeing Wes Matthews sprain his ankle at any rate.

These are professional basketball players. I never understood why people were all concerned about our youngin's confidence after the Portland game.

If they can't handle their asses being handed to them whilst playing shorthanded in the midst of a grueling road trip after winning 11 straight, how are these guys going to handle a close loss in the playoffs? It's not your failures that define you, it's how you respond. These guys will need to learn how to respond in a big way if they wish to be successful.

I watch a guy like Gary Neal fumble a ball away with 14 seconds left (or whatever it was), then I watch that same Gary Neal guy recover a stray pass and not only knock down a game tying 3 (to force the game into overtime), but also nail the game winning trey... to me, these early season failures will only help these guys earn more confidence so long as they keep bouncing back like they did tonight.
