Agreed. Glad to see I was wrong about the bench losing confidence. Green and, while he was out there, Leonard looked great.

Meh, I still have a sour taste in my mouth. I have no doubt we would be 25-9 right now, and with the all-star break coming I didn't see the need to tank that game.

So did Leonard get injured or something (missed the game)? If so, must have been all those extended minutes he played against Portland. :stirpot:

Edit: And damn, as banged up as Denver was, THIS was the game to bench Parker/Duncan.

His calf was stiffening up. Could've come back if he had to, but the Spurs were close to a 30 point lead.

Awesome...sounds like he'll be good to go next week

Everyone who post here is a Spurs fan. I love when you dickheads get off thinking they derive more pleasure out of seeing the Spurs win in instances like this.

The Spurs had it in them to sweep the road trip. The only thing that held them back was the senile ol' fuck, Pop.

There is no need to apologize for being pissed off at the fucking old man.

If you believe that Pop doesn't treat his players like pusssies, then you've got Pop's dick in your mouth.

I mean, even the players object to Pop's decisions. Remember when Manu wanted to play game one last year against the Grizzles?

+1 if we didn't have Dallas on our ass, and the 5 day rest for the all star game this weekend, then I wouldn't be pissed if we tanked that game. I know we ain't getting that number 1 seed, but it would of been awesome with all the home games coming to have a chance to break our franchise record win streak, and possibly even hit 20 wins in a row.

Look, the meltdown was silly, but there were valid opinions amongst the muck. This is just the polar opposite with all the "I told you so threads" :lol

I don't really don't care about the record. I just want to see the Spurs consistently be able to bring their A-game when it counts. That means more than just piling W's.

Result better than expected, tbh.

Before the season I would have pencilled in @Portland on the 2nd of a B2B as a loss. @Denver in the altitude after 8 straight games on the road, that's a loss.

Spurs did better than expect and gave the guys they have been riding a night off. Win-win, tbh.
