I think it's always awkward when a player makes a statement like that. It's a no-win situation for the fans. You want the player to believe his team has a chance but you also want to respect his honesty.

As long as we are healthy I think we have a realistic shot to win the west. The main differences I see this season are Splitter and Leonard. Both give us a little more size than last year and more D. I think Miami would crush us. I'm not super worried about Chicago, though it's inevitable they are going to rock us after the all stall break due to our injuries. Now if we could add a quality big man with our MLE then maybe we could win another ring.
