All Star Break. 6 days of no games. What are the Spurs doing during this time? Practices? Rest? Game Film? Wine?

What could/should they be doing to improve for the second half?

They should be getting Manu and Splitter back so they can solidify their rotations going into the playoffs, and trying to keep everyone healthy.

We need a defensive big; you can't teach Blair to be taller or Bonner to become a banger.

So, I think we focus on team defense with the units once we integrate all of our players back in. Same on offense.

I think we also need to develop a series of defensive schemes for when the opposition has a scoring pf. That seems to be this team's Achilles heel from last year. If that means playing Splitter and Duncan together in those games sometimes, or small ball with Leonard and a swarming defense or whatever, then we might as well get used to it by implementing it against those teams (like LA and Grizz when Rudolph gets back).

1) REST

2) Look for a big man free agent who can play some defense

3) Give the tired old shit bag Duncan a plaque citing him for meritorious shining of Spur's pine both voluntary & involuntary for the 11-12 NBA Season.
