Why would we? He wants to hype the quality of the NBA product as being good, so it's better for people to hear the name than hear about the player the name now represents.

Sheridan is one of the worst "pundits" around and has a terrible understanding of basketball. His website is terrible.

The fact he doesn't understand it was the owner of the Hornets who vetoed the trade and not Stern like I tried to explain numerous times shows how amature he is.

Really? Maybe it had something to do with the fact that a trade was done, then made public, then Stern decided to veto it only after the owners started bitching.

I'm over it tbh, but it was fucked up to all the teams involved and the players, obviously.
