Just want to follow up with my two cents.....I was in attendance at the AAC last night, and I lost a "whole lotta" respect for Dallas after last night. Maybe it was just our location, but there were nothing but idiots surrounding us. Everytime Dallas commited one of those hard fouls (i.e. Stackhouse pushing Gino right before half) - they were all yelling "foul 'em harder next time Stack"...yeah, real cool!
They proceeding to go on and on about how Dallas was kicking SA's ass on national tv, and as we started to leave (with like 2 secs left in the entire game) - the people in our area started to mouth off about "go back to SA, poor spurs fans etc..." - NO CLASS! It took everything I had to keep from getting back in there face -
Oh, well - there was Dallas's one token win against the Spurs for the year....Dallas fans have no class, no respect, and a serious case of penis envy!

Attempting to unravel attempt at:
1) Jinx? No dallas game coming up anytime soon. However, supposed spurs fan also claims their team is mavs.
2) Weird bump? None indicated. However, Stack reference shows this is not from this year.
3) Troll attempt? I guess.
This is botched, whatever it is. Conclusion: Move along, nothing to see here.
This is the new fad in the NBA Forum. Digging up old posts and copying and pasting them.

Double FAIL
1) Mavs lost at home to the Nets, although Dallas has good "D" this year
2) This thread in general

truth bombs tbh, dallas fans always act stupid no matter whether they team wins or loses
whenever they beat a rival they act like they've just won da championship and when they lose a game, they got the refs & their GM to blame and bash. mavs fans = classless

It's so dreamy, oh fantasy free me.
So you can't see me, no, not at all.
In another dimension, with
voyeuristic intention,
Well secluded, I see all.

You're into the time slip.

And nothing can ever be the same.

You're spaced out on sensation.

Let's do the time-warp again.

Serious comment:
I've been to one AAC game (not vs. the Spurs) and several games in SA. To me it's a huge, huge difference in the fans, engendered by the team and their approach to marketing and presenting the experience.
The Spurs keep it classy and their fans pretty much stay that way. The presentation of the game is quite straightforward, and the fans understand it's basketball.
The Mavs game I went to, by contrast, was presented like it was pro wrestling or something. There were good guys (the Mavs) and bad guys (the other team), you made fun of and mocked the bad guys, and you howled with rage at the league and its refs who were obviously out to get the good guys, completely unfairly.
This attitude was completely backed up by the announcer, the messages that played on the screens, Mark Cuban's histrionics from his seat (jumping up and down, shaking his fists, and screaming at the refs), the Mavs coaching staff, and especially the players both on the floor and the bench.
It was really pretty much a joke. A bunch of frat boy type fans who didn't know a basketball from their ass, and who'd get all worked up and pose as tough guys who want to "get it on" when fouls and violations were not called for them.
I found it extremely annoying. Not really a place to actually watch basketball.
