I used to watch the show too. I can still sing the intro music and remember the intro video. LOL (though to be fair, I was watching reruns). My parents still have their purple, yellow, blue, etc records in their collection.

ditto. The reruns. But I didn't know it at the time. My favorite episode was when they were having a disagreement about their apartment and drew a line down the middle that the other side couldn't cross over.

Now that I'm thinking about it, I might order the DVDs.

I watched The Monkees after school and remember Davy on the Brady Bunch and Marsha having the hots for him.

At the end of the day they weren't much more than a boy band but damned if every song of theirs didn't make me want to sing along.

RIP Davy

IDK. I was young but the show seemed pretty funny. I just gambled $70 that they'll still make me laugh.

That was Mike Nesmith's mom.

RIP Davy :cry I used to watch the reruns after school too; I loved Peter but my older cousins loved Davy and met him back then and always travelled to the Monkees reunion tours every few years since----most recently last September.

At first I thought this topic was fake, but now I'm a believer.
