Probably OKC because Westbrick & Durant will just rack in the fouls

OKC without a doubt. lol at a jump shooting team being number 2 in free throw attempts.

Chicago is allowed playing D with the same physicality as the Celtics of the past few years, to be fair..

Monty Williams complained about it last night..

I don't think anything will ever be worse than Boston's 3-year run where illegal screens didn't apply to them.

Rose gets fluffed by the refs more than any other player right now though...although Durant getting all those calls is more egregious b/c he's a jumpshooter first

Hard to say to be honest.

Rose gets alot of FTs, but the Thunder get more calls offensively.

Bulls get away with alot defensively. Always grabbing, pushing guys in the back.

I would hate to see a OKC/Bulls Finals. Wouldn't even bother watching it. Hate both teams. Thankfully the Heat won't allow it.

Not sure how Rose got away with that kick ball...how the hell else did it magically fly in the air?

So bad. It come to a point that KG didn't even feign like he was going to stand still to set a solid pick. He overtly just moved into defenders, hips, forearms, head butts, whatever. He didn't even try and still didn't get called for the moving pick very often. He could bite an ear off, they still wouldn't call it.

What's worse was they also even got the benefit of the call on charges when they flopped, especially when Leon Powe was still playing for them. I don't think I ever saw a scrub player get so many flops called for charges.

Miami blowing teams out of the water. They haven't really needed the benefit of calls too much this season. Not to say they won't get preferential treatment in the playoffs, but I don't think they're getting that much help so far this season. They're the best team in the league with or without a favorable whistle.

I can't wait until Miami beats the shit out of both of these teams should they face them in the ECF and the Finals.

OKC.

holding the whistle on CHI defense < blowing it every damn time somebody breathes on KD/Westbrook

in terms of BS officiating.

Rose gets a lot of ref love; but in general, it's OKC, easy.

OKC gets more calls as a team. Rose gets more calls as an individual (maybe tied with Durant). Chicago gets away with more on D than any other team that's for sure. Just like Boston got away with moving screens, holding players by their jersey, etc. the past couple of years. That's exactly what Chicago gets away with now...

Rose got two calls today where he wasn't even touched. His movement in the air is misleading.

The Dwyane Wade special (circa the 2005-2007 seasons)

Jump really high, throw your contorted body towards the rim, flail arms and fall to the floor, touched or not, get the whistle. The key to selling the move though is when you're on the ground, you grab something as if it got injured. Cover your eye like it got poked. Grab your ankle like you twisted it. Grab your shoulder like someone dislocated it. Or the really fun tactic of slapping your own forearm and then showing the red mark to the official. It's quite the craft to master.

Only pussies & assholes play the officiating card.

Using the refs as an excuse IS & ALWAYS will be a sorry ass bitch move.

Ahhhh and look who made it. Go figure...

...and who will be the first moron to go off topic and pull out the grade school wheelchair comeback? I'll call Red, Midget, and Hoboy in that order.

Bulls got away with a lot of stuff last night, and Rose got a few superstar calls, but at least his calls came while he was driving to the rim. Durant and Westbrick get soft pussy calls on jump shots, so I gotta go with OKC.

OKC. It's a foul for just breathing on KD's skinny ass.

Who's using refs as an excuse?

There are teams that get away with more and there are teams/players that get more whistle. These are things we know. Why not talk about them?

:lol where did I use refs as an excuse?..

If you check the Spurs forum, I said refs weren't the reason for the loss, at all..

It's evident that these two teams get away with more than any other teams, which is the reason for the thread..

imho teams that play aggressively just seem to get away with a lot more in general. Because the refs don't wanna look like pussies and call a foul every 2 seconds. It's just a mental thing.

I don't mind the Bulls defense. What I don't like is the walking moving screen that is Noah. He sets a moving screen on almost every play and gets away with it.

Bad calls can change the game. To deny that it doesn't play a part in the outcome of a close game is ignorant.

But then again, real men find a way to play past 6 fouls. Amirite? Pussys be fouling out and giving the stars two free shots. Has nothing to do with the refs or rules of the game.
