English is my dark horse pick for the Spurs. Extremely intelligent, and could potentially fill or exceed the role lost from Anderson's coming departure. I know that's not saying much, but it is a late 2nd round pick.

He's a very likable guy too, if that matters.

He can score the ball and has a great shot. Not the greatest athlete but is a smart player and can do multiple things offensively. Defensively he's still a question mark but if the Spurs can nab him in the late 2nd round with their pick I think it would be a good one.

Can say goodbye to this one. :( When I posted back in March, there were no projections that had him even being drafted. Now it sounds like there's no way he slides out of the 30's.

I've always been a big fan of English's play, but there's no denying he stunk it up for Detroit, and has been even worse this summer. Hard to say if it's small sample size or not. I'm probably letting my pro-good-guy bias shine through here, but I would absolutely love to see the Spurs take a very low risk chance on him.
