NBA Draft Insider (6/8/12) has the Spurs drafting Griffin.
So does DraftTek (May31, 2012)

He'd certainly be an interesting get at 59. A very athletic PF, with something like at 3pt shot ( 36.7% on the college 3), and decent rebounding. Given he's only been playing 5 or 6 years, he's got a lot of growth potential. The single biggest thing he needs to do is weight room time... Optimally, he really should add 25 or so lbs.

Statistically, he makes all of Hoopsanalyst.com's key indicators

Two point FG pct. at least .570 and preferable higher. This tells us that the player can handle inside scoring. Griffin = .638
Scores at least 18 P40 and preferably more. Griffin = 20.7
Rebounds at the rate of at least 10 R40. Again the higher the better. Ten is a bare minimum though. Something closer to 12 is much better. Griffin = 11.4
Combined steals and blocks of at least 3.5 per 40 minutes. Generally blocked shots are better, but including both is a good thing. It shows a player can handle the defense required. As always, the higher the number, the better the prospect. Griffin = 4.3
Passing is nice, but not required. Just don’t let the A/TO get too far below 0.4. Griffin = 0.54

Fascinating prospect. Slightly undersized for the 4 and raw, but man, those would be some nice raw tools to work with if you shipped him to Austin for a couple of years.

Very interesting find for #59.

I like what I've read about him, but he's an undersized 4 man. The Spurs need a guy, roughly 6'10", 240-250lb range, with a nose for rebounding, defense and shotblocking.

I don't disagree. But I'm not sure such a guy exists that will be available at #59.

As part of a push to get better up front, I'd like to trade Blair or Neal to get an earlier 2nd rounder to get a guy like Kyle O'Quinn or Bernard James who can hopefully work his way into the bottom of the rotation during this next year. (There are also some first round possibilities if we're willing to trade a more valuable piece such as Tiago.)

But it might also be worth it to draft Griffin as a project to ship to Austin -- unless RC has a line on a more interesting Euro prospect he wants to leave overseas.
