Green, who has accepted an invitation to the NBA’s predraft camp in Chicago, said he has a workout scheduled May 22 with the Celtics. He also has drawn interest from Miami, Indiana, San Antonio, Golden State, Cleveland, Detroit, Oklahoma City, Orlando, Sacramento, Utah and New York.

It seems that he's biggest asset is his jump shot.

Spurs have just given him a phone call but it will be interesting to see how many good players Spurs can convince to have a workout for them. With Spurs lone pick in the draft being #59, Spurs don't have a lot of appeal.

I agree, the Spurs aren't worth a separate trip during a busy workout schedule, but with bargains likely to fall in a fairly strong draft, I can see the team working their way in.

Really curious how Green will turn out. He has some unteachable skills (passing) and great intangibles. He could be a major bargain as a guy to bring off the bench.

His passing, shooting, rebounding, speed, skill, size, position, leadership, and defense. Other than that they are the same exact player.

Really? They both put on basketball shoes. Otherwise they're completely different.

Draymond Green would be an awesome fit for the Spurs. Ideally, he'd be able to guard most of the twos and threes and he has a more banging inside game than Kawhi. One can dream.

Green would have to play power forward in the NBA but his lack of height (6-foot-7.5 in shoes) and lack of quickness will probably make him a defensive liability. That alone is probably enough to give him a thumbs down.

But then again, other than that, he fits in exactly with what the Spurs want to do. Great passer for a bigman. Can shoot from the perimeter. Good rebounder and can score enough. On top of that, he has a rep for being a really good teammate and for having a high basketball IQ.

If the Spurs trade into the back end of the first round, he could be a target. It's interesting that he's the only first round talent the Spurs worked out .... plus he signed with Manu's agent.

Getting another small, limited on D bigman isn't what I want ... but if adding him is enough to jettison Bonner, that'd be worth it.

Indiana's working out Michigan State's Draymond Green for a second time today, league sources tell Y! He's a candidate for Pacers at No. 26.
