He worked out today with Spurs:

San Antonio workout went well. Now back to AZ!

His skill set sounds interesting - even if he sucks at rebounding. Not sure where he'll go, but he'd seem to be a very solid choice with a late second. A lot of holes and he'd spend time in Austin.

This kid is one of 3 possibles that I have high hopes that the Spurs would target (Robert Sacre & Jonas Bergstedt are the others) as a possible late second round target big. While his upside is unknown because of his age, this kid has some very intriguing skills that could benefit the Spurs long term.
I'm glad to hear that he's worked out for the Spurs.

Any news on this kid? Also, SenorSpur are you still high on Sacre and Bergstedt? I hope we target a big.

Haven't heard much more on this kid, though I did watch him in the NBA Combine. From my view O'Quinn and James seemingly graded out a bit better than Sims. Still, I wouldn't be disappointed at all if he were to be the choice of the Spurs.
As for both Sacre and Bergstedt, I still like them both as possibles. While they may both be limited offensively, they both have good size, length and solid defensive potential.
I feel as though any one of these five prospects would be very suitable for the Spurs needs. The good news is that all of them should be available in the second round. Unless the Spurs have something else up their sleeves, I sincerely hope they are able to land one of them.

Thanks, sounds like there are lots of options for big men out there in the second round. I haven't checked out the profiles for Sacre or Bergstedt yet but I may now.
Also, it seems like Lorbek is coming over so hopefully we have enough to sign him. Maybe we will get lucky and keep Diaw and sign Lorbek.
Though even if we did that I would hope we would still work on developing another athletic shot blocker for the future that can obviously defend the rim, play on the team now as a fifth big. An aim somewhere around giving him playing time when Timmy sits or someone is injured. Of course Tiago, Diaw and Lorbek get their minutes first. He can do Austin in the mean time if it is too cramped during parts of the season.
We really need another big man if Bonner and Blair don't have Pop's trust at the end of the season/playoffs.

Didn't know he's playing here right now in PBA, he replaced Royce White.
