Interesting prospect. If he stays in the draft, he's another player to take a careful look at. Only 19, has all the physical tools (he will fill out quite a bit more with time).
Appears that he might have a jumpshot (43.9% on college 3's at 1.8 attempts per game).
Would make for an interesting get around 26 or so.

It's very unlikely that he enters this year's draft. Mitchell is about as good as it gets athletically--great motor too.

If he can keep himself eligible at UNT next season expect him to rocket up the draft boards. That's a very big "if," though. He'd be quite a steal if snagged late in the first round/early second.

Would love this guy to declare, blocks shots and can hit the college 3, would be a great player to take some of Bonners minutes

He's already said he's going to back to UNT. As a student, I'm super excited to be able to see him for another year before he takes off.

He wasn't gonna be available when we draft anyway.

DraftExpress has him still in (and going 26). NBADraft.net has an article about a source that says he's going in:

Shit. Well last week he stated he was coming back, but now reports are saying it looks like he's changing his mind after head coach Johnny Jones left for LSU. That sucks.

Eh I don't think the reports are accurate. Pretty sure he's staying.

If he comes out, do we have any pieces to trade for him if he's a late first rounder?

He's staying. Seeing a lot of sites that have him going 8-14 in '13. Most likely not a possiblity for San Antonio.

New Ballislife mix for Mitchell at the Dallas Open displaying some athleticism.
