Likely not gonna slip to us(unless we suck a lot the 2nd half of the season) and get an early post lottery pick. He is very raw right now. However, he is very manu-esque. He can be a extremely good player if he improves his shooting touch.

I have a felling with all of his hype that the Flakers will take him..

Didn't he lose the game the other day by clanking 4 FTs in crunch time?

He's a terrible free throw shooter. To be fair, he clanks free throws even not in crunch time. He's sort of like Tyreke Evans with better court vision.

Tony Wrotten and his awesome 55% from FT line, could be avaible with Spurs late 1st round pick. Simply awesome :lmao cause Spurs need backup PG.

You can focus on his FT% or you can focus on an 18 year old collegiate player who just averaged 16 ppg, 5 rpg, 4 asts, 2 steals per game in his freshman season..I would gladly take him as a spur but I think he will stay one more season in my opinion.

He choked badly, when it mattered at most. He isnt NBA ready. Another PG prospect in Toros ? I prefer Machado or other junior/senior PG over every freshmens, who dropped to late 1st round.

He'd be a moron to come out this draft, when he could probably end up top 10-15 in 2013.

nbadraft.net and draftexpress have us taking him at 27th currently.

I don't know if another guard is the way to go, we desperately need size on the frontcourt. I'm also a bit concerned since he's another one of those combo guards like Neal and Hill. We need a servicable backup PG who has strong ball-handling. Having another 1-2 guard can cause issues again.

Not being in the Tourney is gonna hurt his stock a little bit, but this kid definitely has talent

Wroten can definatly run the pt. Kid has all the physical tools to a very good player, just not sure if he has the mental drive to make it happen..

If you want a poor man's shot jacking PG like Westbrook, this is the guy you want.

It may be redundant with Joseph on the Toros already, but if this guy is available for the right price, I would take a chance on him. He's big and athletic and has good court vision. He has the potential to be a good defender. He may need time to develop but it could be a wise investment.

Anyone think the Spurs might try to move up to the top of the 2d round if this big, athletic PG slips that far?

You'll have to ask someone with an inside source. Try bbary.

The guy literally cannot shoot. He makes young Tony Parker look like Ray Allen.

He's going to struggle, because teams will back off him, and he won't be a better athlete than the opposition like he was in college.

Would love if we could snag this kid, his passing is phenomenal. I trust the spurs to work on his broke j. He's reminds me of rondo in a lot of ways.

He has more turnovers than assists. How, in any way, is that phenomenal? You think Pop likes guys who throw the ball away 5 times to make 4 flashy passes?

First, turnovers are fixable. Second, I realize he's a project, i'm just saying on potential alone, and with the spurs training staff, I think this would be a good investment. He would make a good asset to have.

Fair enough. We'll have to disagree on this, though. With Tim on his last lap or two, I don't think you can take anyone who can't at least help you a little this year. I don't believe he can.

Well, with the 59th pick (or even a slightly higher one), that makes the draft pretty damn simple. :)

(In any event, Wroten looks like that rare player whose game may translate better to the NBA than to college. See Mayo, O.J.; Westbrook, Russell (even, to some extent, Kawhi Leonard).

The assumption is that we would have to trade into the first to get Wroten, and I don't see that happening, If we trade in, we're going for someone who can help, at least a little, now.

Wroten might eventually pan out, but his shot is horrible. It doesn't just need some work like Kawhi's. Shit is broken.
