I guarantee that the parents, being this dedicated to the team, must be SpursTalk regulars. But who?

Since they used the last names (Duncan and Parker), they probably ruled against naming a kid "Ginobili".

Yep, just some educated and loyal Spurs fans who wanted to pay tribute to the top two players on the current roster that have done the most for the Spurs franchise.

The mother also worked at the AT&T Center for years. They are good people & big fans.
Congrats to them.

Ginobili doesnt really make a good first name tbh, Parker and Duncan dont sound half bad. Seems like the only reasonable explanation why the best player on the team got snubbed from having a baby named after him.

Coulda named the kid "Gino."

Don't know why this is news though. There's gotta be a 100 Manu's born between 2003-2007.

I named my dog, Duncan. It was between that and Gino. Tim got a laugh at that when I told him about it. He said he hadn't heard that before, which I found hard to believe.
