There is a lot of basketball left. The Spurs have shown that they are capable of losing at home in the playoffs to lesser teams, including in an elimination game. The Spurs need to come out focused on the task at hand and at a high energy level. Pop made some rather solid adjustments to counter what Detroit did right in Games 3 & 4 but you never know what might happen in Game 6.

Yes, there are plenty of reasons to feel comfortable and confident right now but it isn't over until it is over.

Agreed...the hardest game to get in a series is the 4th one.

They certainly won't be given any breaks coming home (nor should they). The Pistons will come out like rabid dogs, and a lot of physicality is likely to be allowed. The Spurs will need to be ready to match the Pistons' agressiveness. Detroit has nothing to lose.

Yeah guys, last year in game 2 of the Finals Kobe hit a prayer that won them the game that logically should have taken the wind out of the Pistons, but look at what happend. The Pistons aren't gonna close down shop because of Horry. The Spurs better be ready for 48 more minutes

True, MB, but it is over.

Detroit, as bold and brazen as they are, will not recover from Big Shot Bobby's death blow.

The Spurs have lost 3 times at home, right?

And Detroit has lost 10 in a row at San Antonio.

The Spurs will at the least split on their homecourt.

Duncan has a lot to prove in cementing his legacy after being somewhat carried through this series (his #s would suggest otherwise, but you know what I mean).

Duncan will not be denied and is such a professional that he knows he owes his team a dominating performance.

Plus, I won't be there, so it's a guaranHorried win.

:lol

They have nothing to lose by being extra physical. A rough game favors them, so it will be in their interest to knock the Spurs around.

This next game should certainly be very physical because the Pistons have not given up and will come out fighting like crazy. I hope the Spurs come out with the same intensity and stick it to them right away! And stay in control for the rest of the game.

Actually, the Spurs have lost 5 times at home this season - 3 in regular season, twice in the playoffs. That should give Detriot some hope, really. It's not much, but it's a slightly open door, and the Pistons will look to take advantage of it.
