The Lakers, Warriors and Milwaukee are in discussions on a three-team trade, two league sources confirmed.
Pau Gasol, Andrew Goudelock would be sent by the Lakers to the Warriors.
Stephen Jackson, Drew Gooden and Brandon Jennings would be the main outgoing pieces from Milwaukee to Los Angeles. The Lakers may also send a 1st round pick to the Warriors.
The Bucks' involvement is believed to be centered around David Lee, Stephen Curry and Devin Ebanks.
No trade is imminent but talks are ongoing say sources.
The Warriors are 3 games away from the 8th seed and sources has it that owner Chris Cohan is pushing his management to secure a playoff spot this season and bringing in an MVP type player like Gasol is the last missing piece Mark Jackson wants on his roster. Brandon Jennings has irked the Bucks owner regarding his "desire" to test the market next season and hopes to sign to a bigger market and as a result, is now listening offers to package the supposedly face of the Milwaukee franchise according to sources. The Bucks are also sending Stephen Jackson to Los Angeles after Jackson has openly voiced his unhappiness in Milwaukee. So Jackson may soon rejoin his former Pacer teammate. The Bucks will receive David Lee Devin Ebanks, and the highlight of their trade will be the very talented but fragile scoring guard Stephen Curry. The Los Angles Lakers will lose one of their best asset (in terms of value) but they will also net a future All Star Guard in Brandon Jennings to pair with the recent emergence of Andrew Bynum. Sources has advised that Jim Buss is on the verge of creating his own version of Shaq-Kobe duo with the acquisition of Jennings to pair with Bynum.
For those that are hopping on board during trade deadline season, understand that capped-out NBA teams (and most teams are over the salary cap) must approximate the salary they're trading away with the salary they're taking back in and all numbers matched for each corresponding teams.
