1. Antonio Davis is pushing 33 years old and is surely close to done.
2. Nash is a a really promising up and coming point guard
3. Nowitzki has allstar written all over him after dropping 42 on the Spurs in game 5,

no way I do that trade if I'm Toronto. I just watched Carter play like an MVP against Philly, and his first three seasons have made him look like a Dwayne Wade. I don't have a crystal ball to find out he becomes a jump-shooting pussy and that both Nash+Nowitzki become MVP players. Maybe I see superstar talent in Dirk, but definitely not in Nash.

Neither Dirk, nor Nash, would have had the same results, playing for the shitty Raptors front office and franchise..

As Baseline said, trading Vince for anybody other than Shaq, Duncan or Garnett, at that time, would have caused a riot in Toronto..
