I would not touch Boozer in any possible scenario,he's that bad and has a horrible contract.

One day, teams will wise up and cease dealing in any way with the lakers

but you get Luol Deng and CJ Watson, Kobe wanted to play with Deng since 2007.

That team would be scary as hell with Gasol. But like 24 said, how the hell do you trade Boozer and end up with Gasol?

Bulls may have to part ways with Taj Gibson, Deng & Boozer. They get rid of Boozer and get a great player in Gasol but they lose Taj and Deng. I think this trade makes both team worst, but I can see why Chicago would do this. They know they cannot beat the Heat with Boozer.

Watching Gasol pick the Spurs apart in the WCF.

No way I do this deal. I freaking HATE Boozer. He is a dukie, he is soft and hi shits the bed anytime he faces shotblocking bigs.
I would love a trade that nets: Deng (if healthy), Asik, Taj Gibson and Watson though. Not sure that would be enough however and their 1st round picks are basically high 2nd rounders ...l

I think the Lakers still believes they can obtain a Superstar player for Gasol. I mean they almost took CP3 for basically Gasol, so its hard for me to believe they will trade for a guy like Boozer, unless the Lakers thinks very highly of Luol Deng who is only 26 y/o. To be quite honest, the Lakers are fine as it is. What they need is a point guard like Ramon Sessions and perhaps another scorer off the bench and they are set.
Gasol has a lot of value imho. He seems to have accepted and replaced Lamar Odom's role with the Lakers, except he's much more consistent. If you watch Gasol lately, he makes all these little play that makes them a winner. He feeds Bynum down low, he runs the break, he's been excellent in put backs, he makes some very crucial blocks/defensive plays. Its really weird saying this but with Gasol in the lineup, the Lakers becomes a very good passing team with the exception of those times where Kobe decides to play his own brand of basketball. Gasol's value is severely underrated IMHO. Heck, I'd trade Chris Bosh for him straight up given a chance.

CR, I agree I do prefer him to Bosh. And he definitely is undervalued. I also agree that we need a PG and bench scorer upgrade more than anything else.
KEG, wasnt saying I wanted all of that for Pau but just saying those are the players (outside of Rose and Noah) that I value on your team. Realistic is something like Taj, Asik and Deng for: Pau and whatever you may want that is untouchable (Bynum/Kobe) ...

Taj, Asik and Deng would make the Lakers a bit better but IMO this would absolutely make the Bulls' depth suffer. Without Deng, they don't have anyone to guard Bron. Sure, Deng won't stop Lebron but he can at least make Lebron work a bit harder on both ends of the floor. I don't think any deal will happen with the Bulls and Lakers at all, unless Chicago takes Gasol and perhaps Artest for Deng and Boozer but really its a lateral move for both parties.

These teams just do not have much to work with because they are both trying to improve TODAY. Trades rarely benefit a certain team when this is the case

Chi would have to pull in a third team. They don't appear to have the talent LA would want for Pau.
