...If he re-signs with Orlando

The pressure is building. With the trade deadline about 48 hours away, a report by ESPN shows Dwight Howard is completely in control of the situation in Orlando. If Howard decides to re-sign with the Magic, he has been given assurances to control all aspects of the basketball operations. This includes the employment status of head coach Stan Van Gundy and general Manager Otis Smith. He has also been promised that a trade to improve the talent level of the team is on the way.

No word yet if the Magic have promised to get on their hands and knees to beg.

Can't blame them for trying, although it's getting comical now.

Rose has bigger problems...consorting with murderers, for starters.

Magic are going to be a bottom-rung franchise anyway, unless they get All-Star Andrew Bynum to build around. It's either give Dwight unlimited power, deal with the LakeShow, or be irrelevant for the next 10 years.

This owner is clueless! Dwight wants a BIGGER MARKET! and even if Dwight has full power in regards to who coaches or manages the team, the problem is they do not have any tradeable assets at this point to improve the team, which means he will most likely play with the same group of players for the next 2 yrs. Stop being stubborn! Accept the fact that your team made some horrible decisions and swallow the financial loss for the next year or two.
