Do you think the Knicks have a shot of getting PJ out of retirement to coach in NYC?

It's either Knicks or Clips

0% chance imo KFC has done everything there is to do as a NBA coach, he has no reason to come back.

His health is awfully shitty I'm quite sure. I see it as a long shot. Knicks will forever be a fucking disaster.

They'll need to either pull the trigger on a Carmelo deal before the deadline or get really active in the offseason. Hell, probably both for that to have a prayer of happening. If Phil was getting tired of Kobe's ego and Bynum's stupidity in LA I don't see why he'd go to a team that has all those same problems with Melo and STAT but with less talent. Unless he's hurting for money, which I doubt.

It's not too different a situation from what he had in LA when he went there in 1999. Two ridiculously talented children who couldn't play together, though Amare is certainly no Shaq. Still, I'd take Chandler over Rice in a second. I think Jackson could really make that team a winner.

Knicks or Brooklyn Nets have a chance if they obtain a ready made Superstar + support players ie Shaq and Robbin Bryant.

He's 66, no one nows what his health is like, and would he even want to come back and coach ? probably not. He's done everything he can and has nothing else to prove in the NBA, no chance of this happening.

The only team in the NBA that has a decent chance of getting Phil out of retirement is the Knicks.

Not the Clippers, not the Nets etc...

Phil Jackson will be the coach of the Knicks at some point imo.

PJ needs an elite SG to run his triangle but NY don't have such a player imho, and it seems they don't have any asset to trade for one either

PJ is having knee surgery in a few weeks, no way he comes out of retirement.

Word is Jerry Sloan might be interested.

If Phil was getting tired of Kobe's ego

He wouldn't a come back, tailed tucked begging Kobe for his job back.

Kobe's recent spate of epic bricklaying shows how important PJ was to that useless rapist.

PJ ain't tucking nothing, except ring 11 onto his big toe.

He already tucked. He walked away from Kobe like "Cletus." But, he came limpin' back.

All unsavory business aside, as long as he returns, soldiers and keeps his mouth shut against me & mine he's welcome and go in peace. But, if he comes back and sets up with a scope on the grassy knoll and commissed to taking pot shots, I'll blame some of the people in this room and then I don't forgive.

We'll look at all the high profile coaches, this is like the 2010 free agency for coaches
