to be honest we did get RJ in a pretty sweet trade deal. We got him for a retired Oberto, retired Kurt Thomas, and a retired Bruce Bowen.

It was a bad move to resign him to so much...

Anyways, bring on Captain Jack!

I appreciate the fact that he is a nice guy. Unfortunately it seems he'll be grouped with Hedo as players that couldn't get comfortable within the Spurs' system. Hope he is rejuvenated in Cali

All joking side, I appreciate his efforts in Game 2 of the 2010 Dallas series.

As for everything else, don't let the door hit RJ on the ass on the way out.

Then again, he'd probably like that.

When people refer to a strong draft, they are usually thinking of lottery picks, not the 27th pick or so.

So will he get his jersey up in the rafters next to Bruce, Sean, Avery, Dave and the rest?

I think it could be a tough decision, but in the end, I'd say almost but not quite.

He had his moments where we loved him..don't lie...but they were WAY too few and far between...he's a good player, and will probably be a LOT better in Golden State. Just didn't fit in our system...not his fault. We spent too much on him.

I thought he was somewhat underrated on this board.

His main sin was that he made to much $$$$ relative to his performance.

For RJ, being traded to San Francisco is the next best thing than being sent to prison.

GTFO. Could have traded you for a future 2nd round pick and got the better end of the deal.

Good riddance.

He handled the amnesty sit well...but that was kinda his problem. Why didnt he get mad, angry, even motivated????

RJ had no fire, not even a fuse.

All bullshit except the last part.

We never loved him. We accepted him when he tried because we're easy.

It was his fault for being a quitter anytime we needed him.

He's not a good player. Good players don't disappear for 3 years in a row.

He won't do better in GS.
