Thunder, but it's not a huge gap if the Spurs are healthy. Spurs match up well with them.

I'll let you know about 10 o'clock tonight.

Why do people think Westbrook is like a god, I'd rather have Goran fucking Dragic on my team.

Would be an interesting matchup if we are healthy. A lot of season to be played in a condensed schedule. Have to stay healthy.

Healthy and playing well, I'll take my chances in seven games. Would be nice to have home court advantage though.

Honestly, last year the Spurs own the Thunder. Was it 3-1 last year? This year I think it's 1-1. The Spurs play these guys well. If we could just get another big man......

Right now I think the Thunder are the better team, but in a series I think we could beat them.

Since the Spurs can't seem to keep Harden in check, the teams are even. In order for me to truly say that the Spurs are better is when they figure out how to defend the bearded one.

Right now OKC.

If healthy and Jax is ready to roll, give me us in a tight series.

Perkins and Ibaka force Pop to play Splitter and Duncan together.

When forced Pop will do it, ala against Orlando and others.

Thunder. If the Spurs are healthy and everything breaks right, it's probably a tossup in a playoff series.

Unfortunately, just being healthy for seven straight games looks like a stretch for this group :(

Eh, I'd rather defend Durant and Westbrook harder than Harden.

Much more worried about those two than him.

You also aren't going to win a Game 7 in Oklahoma City.

Why is that.

I'd agree on that being a very tall order and highly unlikely.

But the Spurs (with Finley and Udoka playing significant wing minutes) did manage to win a Game 7 in New Orleans when the Hornets were getting comparable -- but not quite as rabid -- support.

I'd place game 5 of the Finals up there as high or higher.

Granted a while back and no Horry, but the same components are there.

either way, Kawhi gets more practice time against Durant in preparation for possible playoff match up down the road.

And no Bowen, and no Barry, and no Mohammed . . . .

OKC. nothing that happens today would change this. OKC are deep and have a top 5 frontline.

On the other hand, I just don't see a team with Rusell Westbrick making the Finals. So Spurs have more than a small chance

ALL u gotta do is make durant play D and your home free. Read his stat line on defense. That is all.

Good ole Nazr. I'd still take him to this day.

Well naturally those two command more attention. Harden has my attention because he keeps the Thunder rollin while they rest on the bench. You can't keep letting Harden get 20ppg and getting to the line 10 times a night.

So far the Spurs have done a pretty good job on Durant and Westbrook in the two games this season. Players like that will eventually break out and have good games. Combine that with what Harden does off the bench and the Spurs would be hard pressed indeed to come out of the game with a W. Keep Harden in check and force Durant and Westbrook to play like superstars to stay competitive.

Harden reminds me of a better Vujacic. He's just a bundle of energy and is always a threat to put up a shot.

OKC is the better, more talented team. Spurs are the veteran, battle-hardened team. I'll stick with the Spurs in a 7-game series.

Where the Spurs can exploit OKC, are with Splitter, Manu on the second unit.

They have no interior shot blocker when Ibaka goes out IMO. I'm not afraid of Perkins or Collison. If you can get a Turiaf to aid in guarding great if not, Pop, and I'm grasping a giant straw, I think would play the towers together to combat the Thunder. He did it vs Orlando and has done it at other times when faced with bigger front lines.

You might be the biggest and only Slovenian homer left.

Overrating him horribly still counts as "Slovenian Hate".

well as a starter Goran looks pretty damn good. Yea he's not better than Wesbrook, but I watched tem play agaist each other this year and it did not look like Westbrook is way, way, way better.

Spurs . . . and I said that before the season. Thunder deserve to be odds on favorites, because they need less to go right for them, but they're not as good as the Spurs. They don't have the personnel to exploit the Spurs greatest weakness, they're not a lock down defensive outfit and as explosive as their big three is offensively, they don't have the depth of scoring that the Spurs do.

Better team = San Antonio and that's against any team.

Most athletic and talented probably OKC.

It's the team thing that enables the Spurs to make up ground they lose in athleticism.
