View Full Version : Good statement win!
But I wonder, how are you supposed to compete with this team when the refs are so painfully obvious on their side?
This game was unwatchable from a referee stand point.
Hard earned win but I am concerned about whomever plays OKC in the playoffs.
They're never gonna lose a series with this kind of officiating.
The officiating is beyond our control. We made enough mistakes on our own. We won, and it's a great win, but I wouldn't call it a statement when you almost lose after being up by what, 29?

Regular season statement games haven't existed for the Spurs in more than a decade, tbh.

It was a great win, Spurs played without Manu and Tiago but let's not forget that it was a b2b for the Thunder so probably they were a little bit tired. Let's see tomorrow how the Spurs play.

So the Thunder are given a slight pass for a b2b but the Spurs?

I love it when ppl decide to just bitch about calls yet no offer no examples. :rolleyes
Anyway, I thought the reffing was pretty fair. There were a few obvious bad calls (Collison blocking foul on the Green jumper for example) but they were allowing Khawi alot of leeway with Durant out on the perimeter, which was a factor in Durant shooting poorly and not getting to the line much.
