Blair -4

Nope. Not his best game. Blair had like a 29/21 as a rookie, in the same building. He also had another 20/20 against Dallas his rookie year.

And Blair had to be pulled out of the game for Bonner because he's dumb as a bag of bricks and was killing the team with turnovers and fouls, as usual.

Nice game overall though, Blair is actually looking like a nba player lately for a change... did some nice things in the 1st half. Maybe he can build on that and make the haters eat crow.

Yeah, Blair started like shit. Ended up going off for a while then came full circle by ending his run like shit before Pop finally pulled him.

I was shocked at Bonner's +16 though because everytime I noticed him he was doing something stupid.

Blair vs Ibaka is a huge problem and occassional careless and stupid defense mistakes really hurt. yet his second chance offense at low post is really missed and his damage shouldn't be greater than Bonner

Blair was bullying their bigs tonight. Overall great game for Blair except for some questionable decisions on the fast break.

Yeah Blair's haphazard style was getting him cleanup points and some floaters, and we'll take it, but his chaos is not like Manu's chaos. Blair was a one man wrecking machine, only he was wrecking us. He scores but then gets the 3 second call at the other end because he was still gloating over his points. How many years are required to learn the 3 second rule? He gets those every fucking game.

ducks not off base here.

In a game that resembled playoff basketball, DeJuan played one of the best games of his season and Ginger crumbled as usual.

Not saying we can expect the former in the playoffs but i'm definitely expecting the latter.

I thought he almost single handedly gave the game away with his turnovers and his lack of confidence whenever he had the ball. + 16 thats got to be a misprint.

blairs best game ever and no 4 quarter...it was almost a loss because of it

Blair played in the late 3rd and early 4th quarters and the lead was cut from 16 to 4 points (92-88) on Blair's watch. Blair came out and the Spurs were able to outscore the Thunder 22-17.

he did alot of stupid shit when the thunder were going for a run...

hence spurs tend to play stupid everytime they have a lead

Blair's not a crunch-time guy. Hence his dreadful playoff showings.

Spurs won't win it all with Bonner or Blair closing the 4th with Timmy. We need Splitter to step up in that role especially against the Thunder or Lakers.

I don't think Blair played that well for most of the game. He was just lucky, pretty much everything he threw up went in. A lot of them weren't high quality looks and it was the kind of shots he airballs and we get furious at him for shooting most of the time.

He had 22, but with the quality of shots he was getting, he should've had 14 or 16.

The main reason Pop plays Bonner is that the 4-man guarding him doesn't stray very far from the arc for any length of time. More difficult to pack the lane. Similar concept when Pop goes small and opposing teams match-up with only 1 Big.

We can't trust Bonner in the playoffs. He's no Robert Horry.

Blair is a very solid bench player..a high level bench player will have stretches of playing like a great player, followed by stretches where they play like a scrub..Blair fits that role perfectly..

Thankfully, OKC is the only top team that cannot exploit Blair..both of their bigs cannot create their own offense, making Blair less of a liability..

I agree. Bringing in Cap'n Jack Buckets will hopefully help. RJ shooting 17% from the arc the last 4 playoff games won't happen again this year, either.

I'm just worried who will close out games on defense with Timmy if we face off against the Lakers or Grizzlies in the playoffs. They have offensive minded bigs that will school Blair or Bonner. Man, Kaman would be perfect right now.
