TP is honored to be in the MVP discussions and especially that Magic mentioned him. He was one of his favorite players and he checked by the video to be sure. But he knows that he won't win it.

He said also that he had chills when fans were screaming "MVP MVP" during the Magic game. He heard it many times before towards Tim and David, it was the first time for him.

So, the Diaw interview was short because he had to leave for a massage. It was fun to hear because Boris and Tony are great friends but there were noting new said. Diaw said again that Pop wanted him to play some good defenses, set screens and share the ball. Spurs like his versatility.

Turiaf was also part of the show. Parker said that Spurs wanted him and that Pop asked him to call him. Boston was also very interested. Turiaf picked Miami because he wanted to be in a great team where he could get playing time. It's too close to his home and family.

Is there a French player the Spurs don't love? Parker, Batum, Diaw, Turiaf, De Colo, Mahinmi, Flo Pietrus, Diawara, Gelabale ... Spurs have been connected one way or another to just about every attainable French basketball player.

It's not a bad idea ... as long as they never sign Petro or Mike Pietrus :tu

T. Parker: "We are playing great right now"

On his own show on French radio RMC, Tony Parker talks about the current Western Conference leader, the San Antonio Spurs. The four-time NBA All-Star explains how great it is to play with his friend Boris Diaw and believe the Spurs have what it takes to win a championship this season: "Boris is playing really well. It’s great to be with him on the court. I never thought that one day we would be both starting on one of the best NBA teams. We know each other since we were kids, we learned how to play basketball together. He’s really a great add for the team. (…) We are first in the West and we are playing great basketball right now. We have just won 13 games in row. That’s a difficult thing to do in the NBA. I think we have everything needed to win a championship. We only need to avoid injuries and continue in the same direction..."

cannot open the link for whatever reason but on the training camp there are some quotes written.

tony is saying they are doing 2 hours session, European style. During regular season sessions are just 30 to 45 mn. Sometimes we look at each other with Boris and we tell ourselves Pop didn't say that we would rest a bit? But that's normal we are part of the leaders of the team we must lead by example. For the moment we are 21 players with a lot of new players, there is a lot to learn, new systems. We also need to work defensive system. It takes a lot of time.

In addition of what Brazil said, Tony talked about the training camp at the Air Force Academy. Coaches let the players 3 hours in the hands of two instructors who scream at them. They were only allowed to answer in the "Sir , Yes, Sir" mold. During that time they did some military exercises with obstacles and weapons.

Parker said how he was luck to be at the training camp with the same coach, 2 players he's been with for 12 years in Tim and Manu and 2 french players with Boris and Nando. He called that like being in a small paradise. It's an ideal situation for a PG.

For the rest of the show, there were interview with Dikembe Mutembo and Vlade Divac. But, the huge event is for next week, when Tony will have the great honor to have on his show the amazing... wait for it... Vassilis Spanoulis.

Transpiration is the evaporation of water from the leaves of plants. Moves minerals up, nitrogenous compounds dissolved in the water from the roots so proteins can be produced. At the same time this loss of water leaves stomata open so that carbon fixation via CO2 can take place, and O2 is allowed to leave. Pun intended.

This is perhaps one of the most important biological processes on the face of the earth.

so what does this have to do with the comfort of the omnivore, Tony Parker?

While I'm sure it will be tough to watch, hopefully Pop can think of some new situational strategies for late close game management.

I've mentioned it before but each time after those 2 TOs by LeBron we pushed the ball up the court, no need to do that when we have the lead and with only around 50 sec; take time off the clock.

I think it was pretty much nerves playing a role in pushing the ball. Usually the Spurs are good about holding the ball when have the lead with seconds to go.

Nando just said that he just had to keep working, to stay positive and to stay ready. A NBA season is long and his salutation could change. He dodged questions about his future saying that he was only focused on this year with Spurs.

Maggette is retired for sure and in France taking some vacation.

Tim Duncan was good at the beginning of the pre-season. I don't think his shape has totally disappeared. He's in a shooting slump but it's too early to consider this as a concern.

I appreciated the way Nando responded when he was asked about his playing time and his future. He doesn't seem disappointed and wants to show what he can do when he will gain some minutes.

Much better attitude from Nando this time around. Even if he doesn't really feel this way, it's much better than saying anything in public like last season. He's just got to keep working. Even if he doesn't get a chance on the court, he can still do the work for himself and improve his own game.
