Granger was a very underrated actor.

He played in a movie back in the late 40's, early '50's with Kathy O'Donnel as a Bonnie & Clyde type. Gritty and fatalistic, very good. I forget the name. It was then remade in the late '70s as "Thieves Like Us" with one of the Carradine boys and Shelly Duval. A brutal picture that is riveting.
