It's pathetic how the media brainwashes the casual unlintelligent nba fan linto thinking that Kobe is up there as an MVP candidate.

After tonight this fucking chucker will be shooting somewhere around the 42% range.

It would be pathetic if their voices meant nothing.

Unfortunately these same media outlets lincredibly vote The Chucker linto 1st All-NBA and All-Defense teams year after year as well as giving him tons of MVP votes.

Kobe beat by the team that took his little buddy. And fuck Kurt Rambis saying "Kobe is all about winning". No dipshit, Kobe is all about Kobe. If he was all about winning, he would do what's necessary to win.

Kobe would rather lose and lead all scorers than win and not score many points. That fact has been played out time after time.

No way man, ESPN is notoriously known for hating the Lakers. Just because they post alot about them doesn't mean they like them.

:lol You guys seriously haven't noticed that ESPN despises Kobe Bryant? There are so many times they throw him under the buss. All their analysts already say Lebron has surpassed Kobe, no one even stands up for Kobe except for Stephen A.

Don't know, bro. They awarded him Player of the Decade on the basis he was a more "memorable" and "exciting" player than Tim Duncan. Stein, who wrote the article, didn't even attempt a thorough examination of each player. His reasoning was that when you look back on the 00's, you'll remember Bryant over Duncan or O'Neal. Granted, that's true, but it illustrates how ESPN favors style above all else. And no player was more highlight friendly, salable, and thus, "memorable" in the 00s than Kobe Bryant.

In ESPN logic,

81 points > 5 Finals MVPs combined.
