For Diaw I think TP briefed him (he was in SA right after the buy out with TP) and as noticed by somebody in another thread, FNT is using a lot spurs systems.

And I think the IQ of that players is maybe slightly higher.

Well Diaw mentioned in the post game interview that the French NT runs a lot of the same sets as the Spurs, so that really helped him.

Kawhi and Boris are really smart(plus France runs some Spurs plays). Jax played in the system for two years previously.
