Can we manage to win 50 games this season?

lol

Well I guess if you're talking about the same win%, then that's 41 which is more than doable.

Not only no, but it would be silly to try.

45 wins sounds more like it. We still have April to go which does showcase three matchups with an improving Lakers team, and a few back to backs in there.

We'll see.

Sure. We can go 19-2. Insert emoticon with eyes rolling like a bowling ball on a frozen lake.

Yes, but who gives a f in shi*t if you flame out later on and don't get to the finals? They already have the record for 50 win years right? I mean extend it cool but it did not lead to a title! Cool record to have though no doubt, would rather have had 49 wins and a title this year.

Absolutely yes.
Spurs will be good enough to win 52-56 games.
But without a NEW marketable superstar, Spurs are going to be fucked even harder come PO time next year.
I get the feeling Stern is really tired of this old act.
You need something new to sell the NBA to new customers and keep the old interested.

Spurs are the new Phoenix Suns, and will be until we can start playing defense again.
