I think a spot in the rotation is likely, especially if he shows energy, good judgement and makes plays for us.

Mills might not play much tonight except for spot duty...give him a few games and he'll be right into the rotation.

I guess Dentmon goes back to the Toros.

Hope Mills can contribute.

Awesome. :tu

I would think he'd get some PT tonight or tomorrow at least. No time to waste so throw him out there and get him adjusted in the last stretch of the season.

Bruno has been advocating for him for a while.

But with the signing of Diaw I'm not sure if it really makes as much sense as it used to. I think I'd rather sign a quality D-Leaguer and hold him for training camp.

Resigning Malcolm Thomas comes to mind (like we did with Danny Green last year). But I think he just signed a contract earlier this week.

Stoked!

I'm sure he can end up being a 10-12 minute player come playoff time.

Green/Gino/Neal sharing time at the 2

Jax/Kawhi/Manu/Green sharing time at the three depending if we're going small or not.

Heck even JA may end up seeing limited minutes depending how is Danny playing and the match ups :tu

Good that it's official. Though I wouldn't put him out there tonight against Nash. He's a sub par defender when he's in shape ... right now he's probably sub Blair.

But going forward, there will be plenty of opportunities for Mills to get minutes. Pop will probably sit Parker at least 2-3 games.

Maybe not against Nash, but they could throw him out there against Sebastian Overrated Telfar....:lol

I thought the second year was a player option. If so, I'd hardly call it a lock that Mills will be back next season. I wonder if he ended up not getting that option or that's just Jeff being Jeff.

Good news. He looked fast, able to handle the ball, and got the guys into sets early. Sounds like a fine back up for keeping the pressure on when Tony is resting.

It is a player option, fwiw, and knowing Patty he will be there at the door day 1 of pre-season training waiting for someone to let him in.
