Usually not a fan of real vocalists, I prefer that grit. More Joe Cocker, Ray Lamontagne, Bukka White than Steve Perry. Bob Dylan would stand no chance, Tom Waits would stand no chance. Yet they are icons in the music biz.

Then there's this guy, incredible talent. If he walked out on that American Idol stage today...hmmmm?

When it comes to the ladies it's those country singers.

This guy would get booed off the stage yet he is a legend. The King of Grit the amazing Charley Patton. He was a huge influense on just about everyone back in the day. The King of the Mississippi Delta Blues.
