Dude has great court vision and passes the ball extremely well.

Probably has the second best courtvision on the team behind Manu tbh.

Thats probably why we was drafted as a 2 guard. The PF thing didn't really start until several years into his NBA career.

I am impressed thus far with his passing..he has also shown some active hands up to this point as well..solid addition

He was actually drafted as a point guard. Those Hawks had Jason Terry and they realized he was a shooting guard in a point guard's body. The idea behind drafting Diaw was to have him defend shooting guards while playing PG on offense, with JET doing the opposite.

Point-Forward...:tu The guy's got great court vision. I never realized how good his court vision was until now...

We have SOOO much firepower that we don't need diaw to shoot that much.

Last game I thought he shot enough, actually.

he's mediocre either way

great passer, but can't defend, can't shoot, can't handle the ball, etc, etc

Diaw's passing and (so far) post-defense have been so good that even if he didn't take another shot this year, he'd still be more valuable in the playoffs than Bonner or Blair.

I've noticed that the last few games, he has great court vision and a great passer. Not to mention, has a very high basketball IQ. He's what Manu Ginobili would be if he were a PF.

We should have signed Ronny Turiaf, hes the defender we need :madrun

I like what he brings. Hope he takes bonners minutes and that bonner gets spot minutes for match up reasons.

funny on the Dan Patrick show today, Steve Nash was on, and Dan asked him "What if LeBron pony up some money and said come in and make a run with us", and then Nash responded "can I stay in his guesthouse"... then immediately said Boris Diaw is staying in Tony Parker's guesthouse and then "did we even have a chance to get you, driving his Ferrari"

Sounds like Nash really wanted Diaw back with the Suns.

then again he only needs to beat Blair and Bonner to be our 3rd best big

Diaw can play all positions 1-5.....If he gets back in shape like he was back in his Phoenix days, which I think he will?..We are going to see alot of Great things out of him....We got an awesome player in hi, a steal if you ask me?...I wouldn't mind keeping him around even longer than just this year!!!....

To be fair, he decided (was asked?) to put on some weight when he became a PF.
Putting on a ton of weight generally implies adding a lot of fat. He was just never able to get rid of it.

He won an award in 2007 for his acting performance, and he's nominated in 2012 for the best film and best supporting actor.

In Hollywood, his nickname is Pink Panther for playing on stage all characters in all Pink Panter's movies - a lot better than Peter Sellers, his maestro; and for his incatchable temperament.

PG? PF? C?

Suns fans were saying that for years, good luck.

Diaw will always turn down a wide open layup for an assist opportunity

Boris Diaw's 9 assists led to 23 Spurs points. Five 3-pt shots and 4 layups.

Great stuff. Those are called "high-value" assists IIRC.

Beautiful stat. This guy is the definition of "team player". Why take more shots if he's giving us 23 points by way of assists?
