Calling it, Nono. He'll overachieve with this team.

I hope I'm wrong, though. Nothing would be please me more than to see the Lakers get smashed in the 1st round, but what Brown did in Cleveland with only James and a bunch of scrubs has me believing he'll work some kind of magic with this Lakers team, which is far, far more talented.

Like I said, his approach looks like shit in the reg. season, but that grind it out style of his will produce results in the playoffs.

He picked the wrong star though... in Cleveland, Lebron was the clear cut best player. Young and only getting better. Still coachable.

Yeah, I get the schtick. Kobe is a superstar too...if you lead a league with LBJ, Wade, Durant, Rose, and Howard in scoring, then you're a superstar, I don't care if you shoot Iverson percentages. When he shoots well the Lakers almost always win...when he doesn't, they usually don't. Once again, pretty cut and dry. Kobe came out gunning cause he could smell the menstrual flow of a certain teammate of his tonight.

Cool, MB didn't cost his team a series yet either.

Your coach did, by inexplicably playing Manu the last game of the season (when he sat the game before), then refused to give Splitter minutes over Bonner till it was too late.

There, now THAT'S coaching. I guess bad coaching is a worry after all:lol

Aside from Baby Drew, Lakers seem to have many issues with their genitalia. And even when the skin is chafed and bloody, it still doesn't stifle his determination.

The Pop comparisons have EVERYTHING to do with it. By making a MB thread after every Laker loss, you're insinuating that some other current HC can do a better job handling Kobe.

Since most Spurfans slurp Pop's seed like it's the Fountain of Youth, he was the easy target for comparison. Still following? Good...so substitute in Pop for Potato Head and we'll have 30 minutes of Troy Murphy every night. Yay!

I'm not insinuating anything. I'm plainly stating that MB is the coach of the Lakers RIGHT NOW, and he's the one that has the power to decide who the offense is going to go through.

If the offense keeps on going through the below average scorer when you have a much superior scorer, then you can't tell me MB has nothing to do with that.

Was there a time when I said MB didn't suck? I just don't put that much stock into NBA coaches...they have the least amount of impact on any of the major sports. Yet you seem to believe that if some other HC were in his shoes they would do a better job. Only Soccer coaches are more useless during games, so I'm not buying it.

That being said, one of the only times I can recall a coach really doing stupid shit was Pop last year. His decision to play Manu in a meaningless game, followed by playing Bonner against the Grizz was epically stupid and detrimental to the team.

What's really great is that the Lakers could still be a threat in the West this season, but Kobe is literally shooting the team out of title contention. If he slowed his roll and actually went to an inside-out offense, the Lakers would probably be as good or better than the Spurs, but their glorified superstar is now ruining any chance they have of being a serious contender. He's just too stupid and too egomaniacal to not destroy a team loaded with talent.

Aside from Baby Drew, Lakers seem to have many issues with their genitalia. Kobe's like a once great lothario, now past his physical prime, violently jerking his dick in the hope of achieving an erection to prove to himself he can still please the ladies without pharmaceutical aid. And even when the skin is chafed and bloody, it still doesn't stifle his determination.

:lol what am I insinuating? I'm plainly stating he sucks. You're still dodging it. If Mike Brown has nothing to do with the offense going through the 42%/28% shooter, instead of the 55% scorer, then who's fault it is?

What you plainly fail to see past your hating and obsession is the obvious. Kobe is a volume shooting scorer. Nothing wrong with that. And the percentages are fools gold. How do you think Drew is getting that 55%. Strickly on post entry passes and his moves? If I have two 7 footers in the paint and a shooting guard commanding double and triple teams I tell him to chuck it and get it to the rim. Offensive rebound and easy high % putback. It's not rocket science.

It's all about a nice balance of both. If they went even more to Drew first you are going to see even more of the double and triple teams on him and a huge increase on turnovers and loss of in the paint rebounds. He has improved greatly on passing out of the doubles but still needs a lot of work there.

How funny is it that you keep talking about how Pau and Drew bail Kobe out and how Kobe is shooting an awful percentage. Kobe could care less what his percentage is. He wants to score and he does. When he doesn't there are two bigs in the paint looking for the easy put back. So while you and many others keep obsessing on Kobes effeciency and laughing that hes taking these ridiculous shots with double teams draped all over him, we just end up with the last laugh down the parade route.

In case you haven't noticed the last 5 years or so, how's that been working for our team versus your well coached team approach? :lol

- Kobe rarely gets double-triple teamed anymore. Sefolosha and Allen guarded him one on one.

- Bynum gets half his touches from misses.

We do agree in some points, namely:
- Kobe has aged into Allen Iverson with a shit 3 point shot.
- Bynum still needs work facing double-triple teams. He's not going to get better without touches though.
- Agree you need balance. But when your AI is taking 70% of the shots, what balance is there?

He gets double teamed plenty and splits them regularly.

- When he does get double-triple teamed, he's still chucking the impossible shot.

Many times yes and thats where Drew gets 1/3 to 1/2 his shots as explained in my post. Thanks for agreeing.

- Bynum on the other hand does get double-triple teamed all the time.

All the time? Look again. And I am not talking about the phantom I'll act like I am coming to double you and revert back to my man stuff either. All the time? Laughable.

- Bynum gets half his touches from misses.

As I said thank you.

- Kobe has aged into Allen Iverson with a shit 3 point shot.

Never mentioned Iverson and to compare the two is typical Nono absurdity.

- Bynum still needs work facing double-triple teams. He's not going to get better without touches though.

He gets his share. What Bynum needs to do is concentrate more on the defensive end that he has been neglecting lately. Just like all the media and no doubt you as well commented on his getting benched for taking the 3, he was actually benched for lazily getting back on D after doing so.

- Agree you need balance. But when your AI is taking 70% of the shots, what balance is there?

70%? Really? Talk about shitty takes. Bynum getting doubles ALL THE TIME and Kobe taking 75% of the shots is just outright BS and your obsessing. Nothing more.

:lol comparing Phil Jackson with Mike Brown

Never compared the two. Completely different systems. Do like the way the Lakers play D under Brown though. Going to a huge plus for the team this playoff run.

He's getting doubled every time. He commands that *BECAUSE* he's the most efficient scorer on that team.

Same reason teams can check Kobe one on one these days. You want him to take the shot. If it's a 3, even better.

Never mentioned Iverson and to compare the two is typical Nono absurdity.

Iverson is the epitome of "volume shooter". That's what you called Kobe (rightly so I might add).

He gets his share. What Bynum needs to do is concentrate more on the defensive end that he has been neglecting lately. Just like all the media and no doubt you as well commented on his getting benched for taking the 3, he was actually benched for lazily getting back on D after doing so.

While Drew has his mental/lazy problems, Pau is a much bigger problem.

And doing so in his 16th season is nothing short of remarkable. 20-23 shots is good. Somethimes he goes beyond and thats a problem but we all have bad days. Cancer? Again, Nono nonesence! I never said 75%. Quote?.

I said 70%...

So far this season:
1194 (Bean) shots + 592 (Bynum) shots = 1786

1194 / 1786 = 0.66 = 66%
592 / 1786 = 0.33 = 33%
