A friend of mine who's still on SR, told me about a rumor that Boris is injured with a " strained rectus abdominis". He wasn't sure about it and considering it came from SR with no link available, I wasn't sold. :rolleyes

Wanted to know if any of you guys know anything about this, or if it's your average SR B.S.

I got to the game early last night and watched Diaw warm up on the court with the coachign staff, having him work on post moves and his 3pointer. He seemed perfectly fine. I'd chalk it up to Pop giving him the night off/wanting to play a rotation of only 4 bigs.

I wouldn't put it past Pop to rotate Diaw and Splitter getting nights off here and ther depending on the match ups. Gives whoever is playing more minutes in the games they play, rather than splitting minutes among 5 bigs.

I'd chalk it up to them running a mini boot camp just for Boris. They had five days in SA and only one game. Hold him out of that game, and run his ass ragged the rest of the time. His legs looked like they had no strength when he took jumpers since he's been here.

As for the rotation, I think it won't just be the bigs, or didn't you notice that Patty Mills didn't play, either? Pop will lay out a grid, and maybe 3-4 players will get a night off in a b2b or b2b2b situation, and the rest will play normal rotation minutes. Even in a b2b2b situation, barring injury, he can always play at least two of the big three. We stacked.

Pop could have been resting him, or seeing how he would react to not playing, or just further mangling the big man rotation...I think each possibility is plausible.

Got to make sure he's gotten over himself.
