tbh 10 rebounds for someone 7 feet tall is like the norm, if you're 7 feet and you're playing that many minutes you better be grabbing 10 boards a game

TBH, Fkla is just a Dirk hater. No matter what the guy does he still hates him.

the spurs accumulate 61 wins, but lose to an 8th seed

= 8

Gets about a quarter of his offensive possessions as a spot up shooter, with another fifth coming from post ups. Another quarter comes from pick and rolls and isolations. Gets most of his shots as a jump shooter. Has a great stroke that is impossible for most players to block due to his size and high release point. Can knock down the three at a good clip (although his percentages are down this season) and hit fade-aways from almost any distance. Great ball handler for his size. Can bring the ball up the floor from time to time. Capable of driving off the dribble with either hand. Can take the ball all the way to the rim or dominate the midrange game. Good in the post as well. Uses a nice array of fakes to get open look underneath. Likes to turn over his right shoulder and then fade away. Can finish consistently with both hands at the rim. Draws contact well. Gets to the line at a phenomenal clip, and shoots a great percentage once there. A poor offensive rebounder for his size. Tremendous passer for his height. Can really do it all offensively. Real team player. Hard to defend as an individual. It usual takes a team effort to shut him down. Seems to get somewhat passive at the end of games.

These are the things we know

dirk rarely gets close to the rim at the offensive end so its explainable he doesnt get that many O rebounds tbh

I think we could look at gtg photos and other photos posted by the users themselves to come up with more descriptions than 3 for the spurfans here.

6.5 rebounds is pretty good for a SG

Duncan - 20.3 ppg - 50 FG% - 11.3 rbds -
Garnett - 19.4 ppg - 50 FG% - 10.6 rbds -
Barkley - 22.1 ppg - 54 FG% - 11.7 rbds -
Malone - 25 ppg - 51 FG% - 10.1 rbds -

What do all these great PF have in common?

^They dont have a career average of 8.3 rpg.

Also dont understand why Im labeled a Dirk hater for calling him a poor rebounder tbh. Thats like saying Im a Duncan hater for calling him a poor 3pt shooter.

Duncan>Dirk>KG>Malone>Barkley

I only saw Duncan, Dirk and KG play at their prime and to me it is: Duncan > KG > Dirk.

And even though I didn't see Barkley and Malone play much it's pretty hard to ignore those monster stats, specially Barkley's efficiency.

KG>Dirk? KG didn't lead Tpupps to a championship while Dirk lead his team to 2 finals and a ring. Of course Mavs had the better supporting cast but just saying.

So? Once KG got a decent supporting cast he got to the finals and won a ring. So I don't see how that argument can be used against Garnett.

KG led the Celtics to a championship. He was the best player on that title team. Of course Celtics had a better supporting cast but just saying.

LOL. KG wasn't the main man on the title team. He was 3rd best at offense behind Pierce and Allen. Although he was great on the D which Dirk never really established in his career.

notice my statements? I ain't bias. just saying. :lol

Dude, not trying to sound like a dick (well, maybe a little :lol) but if you say KG wasn't the best player of that team I doubt your BB knowledge

KG was third in MVP voting that season and won DPoY. And posted averages of 20.4 ppg on 495 FG%- 10.6 rbds - 1.1 blks - 1.3 stls on thre postseason.

Pierce was great during that playoffs run but KG was clearly the best player of that team.

Lmao, KG wouldn't have stood a chance without Paul Pierce against the Cavs.

it's very arguable that truth was the best player on that team though, at least for the playoff run. dude was the real leader and guy they went to in the clutch, played solid defense as well.

Lmao, KG wouldn't have stood a chance without Paul Pierce against the Cavs.

Pierce was-is-always will be the heart of the Celtics team.

You dont even need to assume this, since this actually happened in the 2010 playoffs. Same core group of guys werent able to get out of the 2nd round without KG. Rondo had become an elite PG by then too which he wasnt in 08'.

Pierce may have been the closer, captain, etc for that title team but only a retard would think he was the best player.

1. Duncan 2.KG 3.Barkley/Malone 5.Dirk

Add to that, that one year later with Garnett back they were one game away from winning it all again :lol

This was too easy.
