On a penetration dish, Jackson was able to recover and jump out to cover Paul Pierce at the three and stopped him from shooting...

And then when Garnett got too cute after letting the ball roll all the way from the Celtics side to the Spurs, Jackson picked off the pass and stole the ball...

On the Final play, when everyone knew it was probably going to Pierce, Pierce was able to get Duncan on the switch... and I was groaning at the time, and then he got to his favorite spot with Duncan in front of him.. Pierce did the step back fade away.... but Jackson was at his left side peripheral swiping, while Duncan contested... and Pierce clangs the shot.

Refs blew that one. Garnett threw the inbound pass, and was the first to touch the ball.

His length and toughness makes a clear difference on the defensive end, he has seemed completely focused on D..

Hopefully his shot is on one of it's good streaks, during the playoffs..

jax should be given more minutes and touches, then just some defensive project on the night to defend the best player on the court...

Jax ALWAYS appears to have his head in the game - on both ends of the court.

Sadly, his predecessor did not.

Happily, we can call that player his predecessor, and not his teammate.

Good catch :tu

I was too busy laughing my ass off at KG and getting hyped off of Jack's bad-assness to consider that angle.

he shot 2-9 from the field, 0-4 from 3

jefferson would have made at least 1 of those 4 attempts from 3 and put the game away earlier in the 4th quarter

So garnett went from picking fights with PGs to acting like a PG
