Wow! What a half! I'm absolutely loving the great play by the Spurs so far. This team is just meshing wonderfully together. I would have loved to see Tiago play a bit more, but with the score the way it is, I'm okay with it for now. Still, I really hope hey blazing play going into the second half. Don't want to see another half like the one against the Celtics for a long time.

What’s in a name? Though he’s grown accustomed to being called “Patty” by nearly everyone around the NBA, Mills said he much prefers to called by his given name, rather than the truncated nickname.

“It’s not a big deal,” he said. “Either one is all right, but if you really want to know which I prefer, well, it’s Patrick.”

Actually, you should be rooting for Memphis to keep winning and stay out of the 7th-8th seed (since it doesn't seem likely they'll fall out of the playoffs at all).

Parker looked great out of the box. Was attacking the basket well and didn't seem to be hampered.

I think Diaw may have had 1 or 2 "hockey assists" but hasn't been showing off his passing too much. Has been running the floor well, though...gotten a few nice shots inside and has been playing good defense on Landry. Also had an awesome chase-down block on a 3-on-1 break.

Personally I dont take these kind of games as meaningful other than showing that Mills is fast and that Diaw is not in shape. It got out of hand against a team that is having a difficult time getting the ball up the court. They need Jack to at least do that.

Nice to have a backup pg that's a pest on defense. High energy and puts pressure on the other pg. Dude can shoot too.

Props to the FO. Picking up a player like this is a steal. Wtf are the other FO's around the league doing? Geez...

That's not a problem I'd want at all. We're almost too talented and it's so hard to pick the optimal rotations...but at least we know who the closers are when playoffs come and that's what's most important to me at the moment. Maybe I'll be less scurred when we have a chance to let Pop "dial in" during the playoffs.

Gary Neal is a great shooter but I think Patty Mills has a better - or more prototypical - stroke.

I believe Bonner is statistically the best shooter we have but no one would call his stroke pretty, IE.
