I'll stick up for the Pistons in this way. Yes, Detroit is not a very appealing place to go. But realize that the Pistons play in Auburn Hills, in the rich suburbs about 45 minutes north of the city. And I'd guess most of the Pistons players likely live in the Rochester or West Bloomfield areas, in one of the most affluent counties in the country. So even if you played for the "Detroit" Pistons, you really don't play in and wouldn't have to live or frequent the areas of Detroit. Just saying.

2. Charlotte - shitty team, shitty owner
3. Sacramento - great fans, awful city

honorable mention - New York. Great city, great fans. Owner is dumber than a box of rocks and will continue to fuck that team up as long as he owns it.

LOL ignorance is bliss. The Hornets just locked into a new lease until 2024 including a $50 million dollar arena upgrade (not that it even needs it anyways).

Its hilarious watching some of you mad Spur fan spew such ignorance about the Hornets when they don't even know the facts. Even during this shitty rebuilding season the Hornets still have generated for revenue and have better attendance than at least 5 other larger market cities with better teams on the floor. If ANY team should be given hell it should be Indiana and their pathetic yearly attendance despite having playoff teams on the court and being what they claim to be a "basketball state".

Worst NBA cities to live in (no particular order)...

- Cleveland
- San Antonio
- Milwaukee
