Really? Don't you think it's too early?

Not good for the Spurs. Ridiculously tough 8 seed again and worst case scenario would be drawing the Mavs in the first (realistically because OKC/LA/MEM aren't falling that far likely).

Bit early.

I preferred Denver, tbh.

awesome first round series

Mavs could still drop even further, though.

Although it's pretty safe to say the Mavs won't repeat, I still wouldn't be thrilled to get them in the first round. A defending champion who will likely be massive underdogs against whomever they face...not as enticing a matchup as it seems.

No Chandler. Odom is still a space cadet. Suspect depth. Spurs should win it in 6 tops.

Mavs are nowhere near as good last year.

Doesn't worry me as we are right now.

Do not want. Mavs will still be a tough out for anybody.

I don't think the Mavs want the Spurs that early either so i think they'll play to stay out of the 7th/8th spot.

Did the first seed help you last year? No it didn't, huh dip shit.

Funny how you show your ass up early when the Lakers are losing. No doubt because Kirby's not playing, giving you a built in excuse should the Lakers lose. Usually, you're nowhere to be found when the Lakers are losing.

Pussy.

Eh.

You take what you get. The number 1 seed just fell in our laps, and similarly a playoff mathcup "we don't want" will fall in our laps. It seems as though Spurs fans don't want ANYONE in the first round.

So I say fuck it. Let's just take what we get and pray that we're healthy.

non-sequitur response, but ok...

You're not getting out of the first round no matter who you play.

Would you like to bet on that?

That's what I thought. You a naurato loving guy, but you saw what happened to Kool after betting with me. You're wise to know better. At least you aren't completely stupid.

Spurs are #1 for a season and Mavs are #8 for a reason. Bring on any team tbh.

If it happens that way, Spurs in 6. Diaw and Jack frustrate Dirk. Maybe we can get him to lose his shit.

Despite what they say Mavs fans know Spurs better matchup than OKC ...

JET an Dirk have had some playoff success vs. spurs ...
OKC though losing lately will be way more physical and defensive minded than this version of the Spurs ...

Plus Spurs have no one for Dirk.
OKC can try Ibaka and Collison ...

I say Spurs in 7

:lol as someone who watched Dirk continually make Diaw his bitch in Phoenix, I have to disagree with this.

You're better off with Leonard and Jackson. I know Dirk had a shitty game against Diaw last time these two played but he's definitely not gonna be the answer in a playoff series

Bump is right, Dirk gonna go off ...Mavs will still probably lose but dirk is gonna work them bitches like Omar did Marlo's crew ...

last time spurs played the mavs dirk went 4-5 vs blair
he then went 1-16 vs a combination of diaw/splitter/jackson/leonard
finished 5-21 for the night and got throughly mindfucked by S.Jack to where he was picking up frustration techs
not worried about the mavs

There's no way to tell who seeds 6-8 will be. And whoever said spurs have no one to throw at dirk completely missed their last game vs. them. Diaw and Sjax did work on him where he only shot 5-20 for the game. Those two can definitely be thrown at him and can frustrate him. Bonner use to guard him... :lmao

If Lamar wakes up, it will be very hard for the Spurs to beat Dallas. But that's a near impossibility.

If healthy, the current Spurs would destroy this Mavs team. The Mavs look completely dysfunctional right now.

They still have some games to get it together, and maybe they will, but they hardly look scary.

NO ONE FOR DIRK? Jackson or Diaw? I would say namely Jackson, he frustrated Dirk a few times before you know.

Venti Quattro

That was in 2003, and probably in 2007. As a defender, you cannot frustrate Dirk now. All you have to do is just do your best defensively to cover him. The only thing that frustrates Dirk now are his own teammates :rollin

Dirk would kill us... but I don't know it would be enough... Kidd would need to be shooting 65% from downtown and Roddy have multiple all-star games like he had the last time against us...

You can't count Dallas out though...

It will be similar to the series in 2010...except this spurs team is deep.

Kawhi and Jackson would obliterate the fragile pscyhe that Odom has. LO is a lost cause already, he ain't coming back unless he wears the purple and gold uniform again.

As this workled last year...

Spurs would be the favourites but the Mavs have to take what they can get, if they make the Playoffs.
