I want Bryant in when we play the Lakers ... less of a threat than the Pau Gasol who played against the Suns last night

Hopefully he will get well soon.

Was watching some sports show were they were talking about Bryant saying he is getting tired. They were saying probably his fault that he plays so many minutes but that he should allow his coach to manage his minutes.

I think the Flakers now they won't get first seed so they are going to do what Memphis did last year. I think they sit Bryant a couple of games to get the team they want.

Lakers are in a bad place.

Clippers are only a 1/2 game back for the division. If they rest Kobe too much, they end up in 4 spot, playing Memphis in first round.

If playoffs start today, they would have Rockets in first round - any over/under on how many times Bynum gets ejected in that series?

And they got no bench.

Actually, with a bench consisting of Barnes/McRoberts/Hill/Morris/Blake/Murphy/Gouldlock it could be argued that they're deeper than us.
You forget the blue text? Their bench scored 10 points last night compared to the Suns' 58 off the bench.

the lakers are only a few loses away from playoff contention... how great would it be if we beat them the three times we play this month and deny them a postseason? :toast

As long as after The Finals it's still, 5-4 Kobe over the shit bag Duncan I'd take that right this fucking second.

Did you really just say that you're okay with the Lakers missing the playoffs completely, as long as the Spurs don't win another championship? Well there's a great fucking fan. But it shows that you know the Lakers have no chance, and the Spurs are looking good for number 5.

YOU ACTUALLY MADE ME GO LOOK~

The laker's bench is shooting 42.8%, the Spur's 50.3%.
on threes - Laker's = 28.6%, Spurs 35.5%

on a per 36 minute basis, Goudelock is highest scorer at 14.9 pt/36 and only he and Barnes are above 10 pt/36 per game.
on Spur's, 6 bench players are above 10 pt/36.

spur's bench leads in every category.

Kobe Bryant will not play tonight vs. New Orleans because of a sore left shin. Second game he's missed with it.

Looks like Kobe will be well-rested for the Spurs on Wednesday night.

I would Want him to play. Great time of year to get a litmus test of where this team is and see if Pop will continue his consistency in playing Tiago and Duncan together against bigger front lines down the stretch.
