That is pro. I didn't realize that he was actually at the draft and walked the stage.

Sweet video. My favorite part was the spin move through the teeth of the blazer defense for the layup. Can't deny that he's one of the best penetrating point guards we've ever seen.

It seems like yesterday that I was hoping against hope for Parker to drop to the Spurs. I thought he'd be a good change of pace guard behind Antonio Daniels after seeing him light up the Americans in the Nike Hoop Summit in 2000. Little did I know he'd carve out a likely Hall of Fame career :wow

It's cool that they got David Robinson's quote in that video. DRob was the first person to really recognize how good Parker was. I remember after the Spurs had a scrimmage at Trinity early in training camp that Robinson said Parker was going to change how basketball is played in San Antonio.

At least he learned how to wax his eyebrows since he was drafted ;)

Tony and the Spurs were a great fit for each other. He changed the way basketball was played in SA, and the Spurs kept him from being Devin Harris.

Damn, I remember thinking he looked like a kid and wondering how the hell he'd play in the NBA when I saw him walk the stage on draft day. Nevertheless, I was still happy since it was pretty well-known at the time that Parker was the guy they really wanted in that draft. A few weeks later he was tearing up the summer leagues and Seattle was offering Gary Payton for him and Malik Rose. :lol
